We've all been there, channel surfing never finding anything worth our leisure time on the couch. Hundreds of channels and there's just nothing on. This is usually the case with cable yet there always seems to be a safe bet, the Discover Channel. Whether it's watching a man try and survive in the wild against the worst conditions or watching how paper clips are made, there is something hypnotic about Discovery. It always seems to have something interesting on, not only that but it's always educational. The word "Educational" is usually a quick way to say "BORING!". This is almost never the case with Discovery. If you haven't already (which I'd find hard to believe) got caught up in the programming, you will soon. Here's some of what they offer:

With these and tons of other awesome programs it's easy to see why Discovery is such a successful channel. You wont even realize you're learning which is always a plus. I can guarantee you'll have some random water cooler conversation the next day at work after watching an episode of anything they air.
