Hollywood It-guy Seth Rogan (Knocked Up, Superbad) teams up with his childhood friend and writing partner Evan Goldberg to bring us something that's never been done before on the big screen - a "Stoner-Action" flick. That's right, these guys have decided to create their own genre, which we're sure takes a lot of inspiration from Cheech and Chong and the "Stoner-Comedy" genre of the 70s.
Pineapple Express follows two stoners as they run from the mob after witnessing a mod hit - while taking a hit. Chaos ensues as our two drug-fueled protagonists (Seth Rogan, James Franco) flee across the country - can these two stave off the muchies long enough to survive??
