Toby McGuire Returns to Spider-Man

Toby McGuire reportedly set for another 2 Spider-Man movies.

Though in the past there were talks of McGuire being done with the role of Spider-Man (and after that last movie I would be running too), he has reportedly signed on for 2 more. The unique contract agreement calls for both Spider-man 4 and Spider-man 5 to be shot back to back. This means that the actors would be working for 6 months straight. This is following in the foorsteps of the last two Pirates of the Carribean movies starring Johnny Depp.

Another reason McGuire is back is that according too the Times Online McGuire has struck a fatherhood deal. By this I mean he will have early mornings and evening off to spend with his 22 month old baby. Sony has yet to comment but Amy Pascal, herself a mother, has said that six months without family time would not be fair on any parent.

Toby McGuire will make a record breaking 50 million dollars for the two movies which should provide a little incentive. Maguire’s ex-girlfriend Kirsten Dunst on the other hand has yet to be confirmed for returning as Spidey's love interest. Dunst has recently been said to be dealing with clinical depression which may be resulting in the delay.

Here's hoping the 4th and 5th films are MUCH better than the last. MEANING NO MORE EMO SCENES! (what were you thinking...)
