I don't know about you but the Mic in Rockband always seemed to be the one nobody wanted to use. Maybe this was a personal preference for me and the people I know but I found it to be the most irritating instrument. Well I guess the choice is easier when the game gives you one option, sing or don't play.
Like SingStar Lips is a Xbox 360 game where you sing along using a microphone. The scale on screen shows if you've hit the note high or low enough. I have to admit the mics themselves look pretty cool and the fact that you shake to turn them on is a nice touch. My only problem (and I guess it's kind of a biggy) is with all these other party games (not to mention the Wii) that are available, is there really a place for this genre? I'll just play Guitar Hero thanks.
If my little rant above didn't sell you, maybe this "awesome" advertisement will.
