Apparently according to Famitsu and IGN Resident Evil 5 should have a co-op demo available sometime next week for Xbox owners. That's right, the long awaited juggernaut of the Capcom world will soon make its debut in our living rooms (or dorm room, bed room, where ever you game). Get ready for some serious co-op action playing through 2 levels available with offline and online play.

Of course all this news is 100% for Japan and hasn't been said to be confirmed for North America. With that being said I can't really see them failing to launch it over here before the holidays. Japan is scheduled for a December 5th demo launch so we should see it around the same time.

As far as the actual game is concerned the set release date for North America is still March 15th 2009 or Friday the 13th.

Would be a nice Holiday surprise to have the demo now though.
