You are Joseph Turok, once a member of Wolf Pack, the most savage, merciless black ops squad of its time. Now you have been attached by special order to Whiskey Company, an elite commando team, for what should have been a simple mission: Capture and detain Roland Kane from his fortress on a worthless, backwater planet. Kane is an escaped war criminal, the one-legendary leader of the Wolf Pack... and your former mentor.
Turok is classic first-person shooter adventure - using weapons like your dual SMG (with or without silencer) to primitive weapons like your combat knife or bow and arrow.

I don't think I've ever been as satisfied in a video game as I was the first time I hopped on a velociraptor's back and slit his throat with a combat knife.
While the game's not perfect (boring, typical storyline, with a boring, hardass partner) it's fun for the time being. Kneecapping a dude with a bow and arrow? AWESOME.
