Missouri Cave Home for Sale

A Missouri Cave Home for Sale, one step closer to your very own Bat Cave.

I knew everyone wanted to be Batman and I knew everyone wanted their own Bat Cave, what I didn't know is how many people actually do have Cave Homes. This ebay listing is for a Missouri Cave Home worth $300,000. The sellers reasoning has something to do with the economy and the new bailout plan from President Obama.

A few details listed about the cave are as follows:

"Historic, regionally famous cave: 15,000 square feet, divided into three main chambers.

The front chamber houses the main part of the 3-bedroom finished house.

The middle chamber holds the laundry room, storage, and a spare bath. The middle chambe made a great party room. 80 feet by 80 feet.

The back chamber still has the stage where Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, Ike and Tina Turner, the MC5 and many other bands performed.

Property: 2.8 scenic, partially wooded acres provide excellent privacy and the feel of the country right in the middle of town, just several blocks from shopping, dining, and other conveniences."

So apparently this is a fairly famous cave. To see more visit the Ebay ad.

wow that is cool. Maybe one of the few things I have seen in Missouri that would sure make one think they would want to live there. grin. I sadly spent about 3 decades in missouri and sure would not return but very cool.

How stupid. They'll probably end up getting all the money they need to keep it.

Interesting they'd sink their life savings into a "five year Balloon note. That note expires on May 1st, 2009". It's surprising that they can't simply re-finance - of course, I'm not in Missouri, nor am I in the lending game.
