Appearance:
Deep yet light and bright golden in color, delicate white lace lays on top.
Smell:
Slightly peppery hop aroma from the noble hops, a tad herbal and spicy. Fresh smelling grain on the nose also.
Taste:
Crisp and medium-bodied with a pale biscuity malt pallette, sweet and grainy. Hops leave a spicy bite for bitterness though it fades quickly to leave only a peppery herbal flavor with a vagueness tangerine. Mild dry husk and grain make up the finish.
Notes:
This seems to be brewed specifically for Americans be that the name is "Wurzburger for Oktoberfest" and is not seen on their web site at all. None the less this is a "better than Beck's" German Pilsner.
Beer Type: German-Style Pilsener
Country: Germany
