Appearance:
Pale straw-colored lager with a fairly fine beaded head of white foam. Somewhat gassed up on the carbonation side.
Smell:
Aromatically, wet grains and sweetish malt compete with an underlying sourness that just won't go away.
Taste:
Light in body. Sweetish malt thickly paves the way for more sweetish malt, but then a flowing undertow of sourness pushes forward convincingly. Hop bitterness very low as to be a non-factor. Middle has malt coating the palate heavily, but is forced aside by more sourness. Finish of a medium length has a malty, sweetish load interspersed with sour (malt?) notes.
